The book chronicles his life from beginning to more-or-less present time. The end is a little predictable, the climatic ending is a little rushed, but overall this is an excellent fantasy read. Gerrold does a masterful job of showing the trickle-down effects of such an occurrence, showing the potential of a full-blown disaster. I can promise you will all get a good laugh out of this book and especially for under $5. Audience members are encouraged to participate through singing as well.
